Our Holy Cross Capital Improvements Campaign is an important initiative to preserve, restore, and improve our sacred church home for future generations. Launched following our May 2025 General Assembly, this campaign focuses on two essential projects: replacing the church furnace

These upgrades are necessary to ensure the comfort, safety, and beauty of our worship space. As stewards of our church, we are called to maintain and care for the space that brings us together in faith, fellowship, and service.

Church Heating System Upgrade

Our current heating system at Holy Cross is over 60 years old and has reached the end of its functional life. Originally installed when the church was built, the furnace now operates inefficiently, struggles to heat the full sanctuary evenly, and poses growing maintenance and reliability issues—especially during the colder months.

This system is not only outdated, but it also lacks energy efficiency, leading to higher operating costs and an increased risk of sudden breakdowns that could disrupt services and events.

As part of our Capital Improvements Campaign, we are prioritizing the replacement of the entire furnace and heating system with a modern, high-efficiency unit that will:

• Provide consistent, comfortable heating throughout the church

• Reduce energy consumption and monthly utility costs

• Improve airflow and air quality
